Our silk skirts are made from 100% silk paj
and weigh 8 mm.  This is the lightest weight of silk we can go without
compromising the strength and durability of the silk. Each skirt is hemmed with
silk thread hems. They are 38-43
“ in length and this varies depending of whether you iron them or leave them crinkled. For those women that a more petite it needs to be tailored in your local area to adjust to your height. The elastic waistline which stretches between 28 - 40". We are currently designing a skirt which can adjust to a greater variety of sizes and we will announce that when it is available.
All the skirts are hand-dyed by
Tamsin Murray aka Nahari in an outside studio under the juniper trees of
New Mexico. This ensures the colors are rich and deep.
The skirts are wonderful to wear for all kinds of events in various ways and here on our site we feature many different styles you can wear them. They make beautiful sun dresses and can be wrapped to create a tiered look.
The dyes we use are non-toxic except if you breathe in the powder form. The colors can vary from dye lot to dye lot but we try to keep to the color represented here online. Because we hand - dye
the silk may have small flaws in it but we try to minimize these in order
to give you the best quality we can offer.
